The North Shore is a genuinely different climate to the rest of Metro Vancouver. As the mountains force weather systems upward, North Vancouver gets substantially more rain than Delta or Richmond do — and it lands on homes sitting under dense second-growth forest.
For windows, that means organic growth rather than ordinary dirt.
