Maple Ridge stretches from the Fraser up into the hills, and the higher you go the more the forest takes over. Silver Valley and Albion are newer subdivisions built right against tree line, with three-storey homes on sloping lots and a lot of glass facing the view. Hammond and the older riverside areas are lower, flatter and more established.
